\nEvery\nyear, thousands of academicians lose their jobs mostly for political\nreasons, and a significant portion of them are forced to leave their\nhome countries. The oppression on academicians is not rare in the\nhuman history. Many scientists; from Socrates to Avicenna, from\nGalileo to Einstein; were the victims of injustice and oppression.\nSome lost their lives some left their countries and tried to survive\nin other lands. This situation is not too much different in today\u2019s\nmodern world. As an academician, if you feel at risk and have to\nleave your home country, there are institutions that could provide\nyou job opportunities and support your research. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What\nare Fellowship \/ Bursary \/ Grant?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The\nscholarship is usually the name for educational support, which can\nprovide funds directly for the graduate studies such as master or\ndoctorate education. In some institutions, scholarship can also be\nfunded by large scale research projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tips\nfor Scholarship \/ Research Projects:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n To\napply a scholarship, <\/strong><\/em>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n \n\u2022 You\nhave to make sure you are eligible for the scholarship or project\nsupport before making applications to these programs. At the application\nstep, a host institution is not required to apply for the support,\nbut it is possible to use the scholarship only after finding a host\nresearch institution. This institution supports academics within two\nyears of leaving their countries. The \u201cRefugee Researcher\nSupport Scholarship, which can be used especially by academicians who\nare in exile in Germany, is one of them. The mentor academic to apply\nfor this scholarship must be a researcher who has benefited from\nVolkswagen Foundation scholarships in the last decade.
